The long-awaited Monaco Park (5790 Monaco St.) renovation project has finally been completed, bringing a fresh and inclusive experience to Commerce City residents. The renovation project introduces several exciting new features like new park shelters, pedestrian-level lighting, a Fitness Court^Ⓡ, and flush restrooms.  Commerce City Parks and Recreation division partnered with the National Fitness Campaign, Adams County Open Space, Commerce City Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) and UCHealth to install the Fitness Court, which provides free access to high-quality workouts and creates an equitable exercise space for community members. 

Community members are invited to a grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 3:45 p.m. on-site at 5790 Monaco St. to celebrate the park renovation and the new fitness court, which is currently open for use during regular park hours.
