Grand Opening
September 4th 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Our Active Adult program is continuing to grow and is looking forward to additional space at Bison Ridge Recreation Center. We are adding classes, drop-in activities, special events, and a socialization area to our community. We hope to see you at our Grand Opening.
Eagle Pointe Active Adult Center
Discover new places, learn new skills, and make new friends. The Active Adult Center located in the Eagle Pointe Recreation Center is a friendly place with a wide variety of classes, services, events, trips and social opportunities for all older adults.

Older Adult Assistance and Services
GoodFriends Scholarship Program
Partial assistance is available for older adults needing financial help to participate in recreation programs. All Commerce City residents 55+ qualify. Let the registration desk know you would like to utilize the GoodFriends scholarship and use up to $75 annually in program funding.
Visiting Nurses Foot Clinic
Seniors can receive basic health services from an onsite nurse on the second Wednesday of each month. Services include blood pressure checks and nail and foot care for diabetics and others who need it. Services are provided by appointment only and cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to appointment. For information on available services or to schedule an appointment, call 303-698-6496.
Life Isn't Easy
Share your life experiences, good and bad, in this monthly support group. Discuss topics such as the joys and pains of daily living such as aging, the loss of a loved one, financial hardship, medical diagnoses, and caregiving. The group is self led.
First & Third Mondays 10-11:30 a.m. FREE
Transportation
Looking for a lift? Schedule medical and dental appointments or shop for groceries using A-Lift Transportation Services. This free service is available to residents age 60 or older, or who have a disability. Service days are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reservations require a three-day notice and can be made by calling the Active Adult Resource Center at 303-235-6972.
Volunteer Opportunities
The success of the Commerce City Active Adult Program relies on our volunteers. We have several opportunities for volunteers including office assistance, program aides, and special events. For more information, please call our Active Adult Coordinator at the location where you wish to volunteer.
